This event at the Community Christian Church at 7:00 pm will be free to AOA members with an
overview of his renowned and accurate Advanced Predictive Techniques. The use of the speculum,
primary directions and aspects in mundo are the most accurate timing tools in astrology. Advocated
by Ptolemy and used by ancient and medieval astrologers, these tools show the hidden aspects in both natal and
return charts. Lecture will include examples in both natal and mundane astrology. Kansas City is lucky
enough to be on Ken's book and lecture tour in May through the Midwest...

...And Saturday, May 18th - Workshop: Western Sidereal Astrology with Ken Bowser
The Sidereal zodiac is most closely related to the location of the constellations and stars in the sky
today, rather than from the time of our change-of-seasons based Tropical Zodiac most commonly used in
Western Astrology. This will enrich your knowledge for our classes.
This will be an all-day workshop with internationally acclaimed Western Sidereal Astrologer, Ken Bowser.
10:00am-4pm with lunch break, location: KC Area, directions provided upon registration. A fabulous
lunch with the speaker will also be available for $10/person. Workshop registration and credit card
payments should be arranged through:

Readings:
Ken Bowser will be available for a limited number of natal readings. This three-hour reading will include natal chart interpretation, solar return, transits, progressions, primary directions and astrocartography. Readings must be booked by May 1st. Cost: $250. BIO:
Kenneth Bowser, author of An Introduction to Western Sidereal Astrology, has studied both astrology and ancient history for over forty years. Known for his careful scholarship in the field of ancient astrology, Ken lectures at astrological conferences in the US and Europe and regularly teaches classes on a variety of astrological subjects. His articles have appeared in American Astrology magazine, The Mountain Astrologer, The Siderealist, The Traditional Astrologer, Continuum, Realta, and The NCGR Newsletter.

Meeting Location Update
Lecture meeting location: The beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright designed Community Christian Church on the Country Club Plaza, 4601 Main, KC, MO (pictured to the right). Use the main church entrance. Here is the link to the Church with directions. Parking is south of the church. We are supposed to park on the 2nd level, as it's the bank parking lot; however, around 7:00 pm is probably ok for the visitor spots. If traveling north on Main St., turn right into the lot. If one is traveling south on Main, turn left (north of 47th St.).
Meetings will continue to be held on the 2nd Monday of each month, 7-9 pm, unless otherwise noted. In addition to all meetings, all special lectures and workshops will be held at the Community Christian Church. Please see details for the special lectures and events in March, 2012 for Arielle Guttman and April, 2012 for Dr. Christina Becker for times and locations. There are no regular monthly meetings held in March or April.
