"Sailing Along the Nile": Introduction to Egyptian Visual Astrology – 2
Debbie Keil-Leavitt will teach us how to "Chart like an Egyptian," in a recorded lecture soon to be available at this website. In this lecture Debbie will explain the "heliacal rising and setting" stars in your chart that act somewhat like another “Sun Sign,” and how the stars, in relation to planets and luminaries, speak of the passions that drive our lives. This technique enriches any reading of your astrology chart.

Get in Touch with Your Own Charisma: An "Ocean of Diamonds"
At the very beginning of February 2012 there are many astrological breakthroughs, and one of the most fascinating is slow-moving Neptune's entrance into the sign of its most comfortable environment, Pisces for the next 13 years. This is Neptune's first return to its native realm since it was discovered in the early 1800's. Both Neptune and Pisces represent spirituality, compassion, the arts, dreams and that delightful fog of the early, magical days of being "in love."**
Neptune and Pisces also represent charisma - that quality that is difficult to define yet undeniably powerful. It is what elects our politicians and selects our movie stars - the "indefinable object of desire" somehow defined in a person. Neptune marks the foggy line between our everyday lives and when we live the mystery of being a mythic figure to others. It is a power as undeniable as waves crashing on the shore or the incessant flow of a river. So how do you find that charismatic part of you in February 2012? Meeting Location Update
Lecture meeting location: The beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright designed Community Christian Church on the Country Club Plaza, 4601 Main, KC, MO (pictured to the right). Use the main church entrance. Here is the link to the Church with directions. Parking is south of the church. We are supposed to park on the 2nd level, as it's the bank parking lot; however, around 7:00 pm is probably ok for the visitor spots. If traveling north on Main St., turn right into the lot. If one is traveling south on Main, turn left (north of 47th St.).
Meetings will continue to be held on the 2nd Monday of each month, 7-9 pm, unless otherwise noted. In addition to all meetings, all special lectures and workshops will be held at the Community Christian Church. Please see details for the special lectures and events in March, 2012 for Arielle Guttman and April, 2012 for Dr. Christina Becker for times and locations. There are no regular monthly meetings held in March or April.
